How to Bite Off More Than You Can Chew

I just finished judging a few short stories for a writing contest. I’m on the last round of edits for a 72 page monthly real estate guide that I design. There are actually more clean clothes and dishes in my house than dirty clothes and dishes. And I’m all prepared for my book signing this Friday. I managed to accomplish all of this with an almost two-year-old who can now climb out of his playpen. Yeah, I’m feeling like a winner this week. Eat your heart out, Wonder Woman!

In other news… “Graveyard Shift” is now IndieReader approved!!!! I get fancy stickers to put on my book covers! Woot! Also, there is a potential anthology project in the works that might include a Lana Harvey short story. I’ll post more details when the contract is signed. I have 4 books in the works for release in the next 12 months, since I’ve discovered a time vortex in my linen closet that allows me to squeeze eight more hours into each day. It’s either that, or I’ve finally lost my mind.

I think after the Friday signing, I’m going to skip town with my little family and head to the lake. I have a book to read before Sunday night’s book club meeting, and I have a couple books to work on. I might just play it old-school and do all my writing with a pen and notebook this weekend. There should be some fun giveaways coming up later this summer.
